Inspiration

Inspiration is an unconscious burst of creativity in a literary, musical, or visual art and other artistic endeavours. In modern psychology, it is an entirely internal process.

Creativity

It is a phenomenon where something new and valuable is formed. The created item may be intangible or a physical object.

Invention

It is a unique or novel device, method, composition, idea, or process.

It can be an improvement upon a machine, product, or process for increasing efficiency or lowering cost. If an idea is unique enough it can be patented. A patent, if granted, gives the inventor a proprietary interest in the patent over a specific period, which can be licensed for financial gain.

Types of inventions:

Scientific-technological:  railroads, aviation, vaccination, hybridization, antibiotics, astronautics, holography, computing, the Internet, and the smartphone.

Sociopolitical: comprise new laws, institutions, procedures that change modes of social behavior and establish new forms of human interaction and organization. E.g.: the Olympic Games, the United Nations, the European Union.

Humanistic: encompass culture in its entirety, transformative and important as any in the sciences.

Philosophers invented logic (several times), dialectics, idealism, materialism, behaviorism, positivism, pragmatism, and deconstruction.
